Crimes reported over the past seven days. Burglary Dwelling Between 8.00am on Thursday 16 and 3.30pm on Saturday 18 April in Alfreton Road, Selston, a property was entered by forcing a rear window and the house was ransacked, it is not known what may have been stolen. A workshop in the garden was also entered by cutting a hole through the woodwork and tools were stolen. Burglary Other Nothing to Report Theft of motor vehicle Between 7.30pm on Sunday 19 and 8.00am on Monday 20 April in Sorrel Drive, Kirkby in Ashfield, a white Jaguar E-Pace was stolen from a driveway. Theft from motor vehicle Nothing to report Theft At 3.30am on Friday 17 April in Sutton Road, Kirkby in Ashfield, milk from a delivery left outside a store was stolen by a white male, 5-06”, average build, wearing a grey tracksuit with the hood up and a man bag across his body. The same man has done this on several past occasions. Violence against person At 7.19pm on Thursday 16 April in Primula Grove, Kirkby in Ashfield a Deliveroo driver was followed by two males, both riding electric bikes and wearing balaclavas, they caught up with him and hit him on the shoulder trying to knock him off his bike in an attempt to steal it. One was wearing a black tracksuit, the second in a grey tracksuit. Criminal Damage At 2.23pm on Thursday 16 April in Station Street, Kirkby in Ashfield, of a male kicking and damaging a communal door to some flats. Between 5.00pm on Friday 17 and 9.30am on Saturday 18 April in Ellis Street, Kirkby in Ashfield, a red Renault Laguna left in a car park had both wing mirrors smashed. At 7.30pm on Friday 17 April in Selston Country Park, Alfreton Road, Selston, lights were smashed by a group of youths. At 7.45pm on Tuesday 21 April, on Little Oak Drive, Annesley, a report of travellers damaging air con, units at the rear of E.ON UK. Ltd. ASB At 5.17pm on Thursday 16 April in Patagonia Place, Annesley Woodhouse, a report of issues with a young male riding around on an e-scooter and being abusive to residents. At 7.37pm on Saturday 18 April at Domino’s Pizza, Station Street, Kirkby in Ashfield, a group of around five or six males and females between 10 and 16 years old, kept entering the premises and moving chairs around. No damage caused. At 1.35pm on Saturday 18 April in Willow Avenue, Kirkby in Ashfield, a report of kids throwing eggs at the callers windows. At 9.02pm on Saturday 18 April in Nottingham Road, Selston, a rear gate was kicked and forced open activating the security lights which made the offenders run off. At 1.58pm on Sunday 19 April in Lindley’s Lane, Kirkby in Ashfield, a report of three males, all masked up, on e-bikes and off road bikes “driving like idiots”. At 10.16am on Tuesday 21 April, at the Acacia Centre, Acacia Avenue, Annesley Woodhouse, a report of ongoing issues with local children riding e-bikes on the park and being verbally abusive to members of staff.
